The House of Frank N Stein, 726 E. Center St., closed this weekend. The Riverwest bar and restaurant opened in 2005 inside a former funeral home.

Frank N Stein was known for cheap drinks, hot dogs and karaoke inside a kitschy, "spooky" setting. The building is 100 years old and rumored to be haunted.

Ismail Ozcan and Susan Van Schaik co-owned the bar. According to Frank N Stein regular Matthew Eells, "Ismail said he just couldn't do it any more. He's tired, bills are due, business is down."
