Enjoy the Great Milwaukee Winter with ice skating at the Christmas Carnival of Lights. Whether you’re a veteran on the ice or lacing up for the first time, ice skating under the twinkling lights is a winter delight sure to make your spirits bright!

Now open through February 1!

The Corners of Brookfield and BelAir Cantina are inviting Wisconsinites to “chill out” at the forthcoming BelAir Cantina Ice Bar.

The one-of-a-kind sculpted ice bar, located in the Market Square in front of BelAir Cantina, is slated to open on Thursday, Jan. 30 and will operate Thursday through Sunday as long as Mother Nature allows (likely a few weeks).

What to expect

Constructed by partner Art Below Zero with approximately 10,000 pounds of ice, the 20’ long ice bar will be adorned with a giant custom-carved ice bull (representing BelAir Cantina’s insignia), ice luges and a variety of backdrops for photos and videos.

“2024 was too warm for us to welcome back the Ice Bar, so we are thrilled bring it back in Brookfield at The Corners,” says Kristyn O’Laughlin, President and CEO of Toro Mojo Inc. “This is the perfect outdoor, fun activity for the community to experience good food and drink while embracing the cold with us.”

Guests are invited to enjoy drinks at the bar and socialize with friends at a variety of cozy, heated outdoor seating areas near the bar and BelAir Cantina.

Specialty drinks including the Valhalla (Herradura Blanco, lime, Triple Sec, agave, jalapeno, coconut, Chambord) and the Flap Jack (Jack Daniels, apple cider, lemon, maple syrup, cinnamon sugar, agave) will be offered exclusively during the winter experience.  Guests can also enjoy beer, BelAir Margaritas, Shotskis ("California Surfer" Jagermeister, Bacardi and pineapple) and luge shots of Herraduro Blanco.

“We’re thrilled to partner with BelAir Cantina this winter and bring back the Ice Bar to the shopping center,” notes Jordyn Fischer, Marketing Manager at the Corners of Brookfield.  “This is the perfect opportunity for our community to come out with family and friends to enjoy your favorite drink, all while embracing our Wisconsin winter. We invite everyone to bundle up and chill out with us.”

Beginning Jan. 30, the Ice Bar will be open Thursday and Friday from 4 to 8 p.m., Saturday from noon to 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
