A Lake Country gem got a nod this week in “People” Magazine.

I.d., the modern American restaurant located inside the Delafield Hotel, was named among 50 Most Beautiful Restaurants in America by OpenTable editors Laura Scholz, Laura Scholz and Stefanie Tuder.

Curated in honor of "People’s" 50th anniversary and their 2024 “The Beautiful Issue”, the list includes picks from all 50 states.

“These super-stylish stunners deliver unforgettable dining experiences,” the article reads. “There are mountaintop chalets with modern rustic touches, glammed-up Art Deco mansions with a view, and mirror-and-glass paneled sky-high stunners.”

As for I.d., the restaurant is recognized for one particular design element:  “The showstopper here is the ceiling, painted with confetti-hued pop art that matches the dining room’s lively, playful energy.”

But that's just one of the restaurant's many charms, which extend to its open kitchen, gorgeous metalwork, stunning light fixtures and beautiful table settings.

I.d. also boasts a menu of seasonally driven fare that's equally as beautiful as its environs.
