Now, perhaps more than ever in recent times, folks could use a boost when it comes to jobs.

Because there’s a skills gap – and a job-killing pandemic – iHeartMedia Milwaukee has joined with a number of partners to launch “ReSkill MKE,” an online resource center to help visitors connect with local partners who provide jobs, training programs and resources to help them forge new careers..

The “ReSkill MKE” portal shares resources, training courses, insights from employers who are seeking qualified workers, as well as useful blog posts to help workers, students, prospective students and folks looking to switch careers.

You can find ReSkill MKE – a pilot program that runs through May 8, 2021 – at reskillmke.net.

iHeart-Milwaukee's area partners on the initiative include:

“We know advanced technology, automation and robotics are forcing some local workers to find new jobs, new skillsets and new careers,” said iHeartMedia Milwaukee Vice President of Sales Bekki Yang.

“We also know that while there are so many great resources available in Milwaukee, it can be quite challenging to know where to even begin to search for the right program. We, along with our partners, developed ‘ReSkill MKE’ to give our community a site that will help them find out how local programs have helped pave the way for others, while connecting them with resources, information and new opportunities.”

iHeartMedia Milwaukee owns and operates WKKV-FM, WRNW-FM, WISN-AM, WMIL-FM, WRIT-FM, WOKY-AM and is part of iHeartMedia.
