Present Music, a Milwaukee-based contemporary music ensemble, will begin the second half of its 2012-13 season with a February concert series entitled "In the Chamber."
This series will present original works composed by Andrew Norman, Ted Hearne, Nico Muhly and Timothy Andres. Several pieces were inspired by legendary works of the composers' professional idols.
The concert will be presented three times at three different venues around the city:
- Feb. 15 at a historic East Side mansion (call 414-271-0711 x5 for details).
- Feb. 16 at the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center, 1111 E. Brown Deer Rd., at 7:30 p.m.
- Feb. 23 at The Hamilton, 823 E. Hamilton St., at 7:30 p.m.
