Ira Glass, host and producer of National Public Radio's "This American Life," will appear at The Pabst Theater on Saturday, Feb. 4 at 7 p.m.
Tickets cost $45.50 and $35.50 and they go on sale Friday, Sept. 23 at noon. This is an all-ages show.
On his "Reinventing Radio" tour, Glass will discuss his program and how it's put together: what makes a compelling story, where the amazing stories depicted on the show are found and how he and his staff are trying to push broadcast journalism to new heights.
As part of this, Glass will mix stories from the show live on stage, combining his narration with pre-taped quotes and music, recreating the sound of the show as the audience watches. He will also play funny and memorable moments from the show and talk about what was behind their creation.
