Jack White, one of the most famous names in modern rock, announced today that he will return to The Rave for a concert on Friday, April 20. White's last Milwaukee visit took place in the same venue almost four years ago.
The show is a part of White's newly announced tour in support of his upcoming solo album, "Boarding House Reach" – his first since 2014's "Lazaretto" – which will begin the night before in Detroit. Just this week, the rocker released two new songs off the new record, "Connected By Love" and "Respect Commander."
Tickets for the show will go on sale to the public beginning Friday, Jan. 26, at 10 a.m. Regular tickets will cost $72.50, while VIP balcony tickets will cost $87.50. Third Man Records Vault members, however, will have access to a presale starting at 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 22.
As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
