Alternative rock / punk / metal band Jane's Addiction announced a 2012 tour today that will start on Feb. 5 in Indianapolis and end on Saturday, March 24 at the Eagles Ballroom in Milwaukee.
The show starts at 8:30 p.m. and tickets are $40 and $50. Tickets go on sale Saturday, Jan. 14 at 10 a.m.
The band will include frontman Perry Farrell, guitarist Dave Navarro, Chris Chaney on bass and drummer Stephen Perkins.
The tour, called "Theatre of the Escapists," is in support of the band's recent full-length album, "The Great Escape Artist," that came out in October 2011.
Jane's Addiction is best known for the songs "Mountain Song" and "Jane Says" from its "Nothing's Shocking" album, released in 1988, and "Been Caught Stealing" from 1990's "Ritual de lo Habitual."
Farrell is one of the founders of Lollapalooza.
