West Allis is officially down one restaurant. Ka-Bob’s Bistro, 6807 W. Becher St. in West Allis, has closed its doors after just over two years in business.

The restaurant, which opened in spring of 2016, made a name for itself locally with a menu that mixed casual fare like burgers with higher end items like prime rib on weekends.

Owner Bob Nicholson says he’s grateful for the support from customers who patronized the business. He says his decision to close the business will allow him to focus his energies on the catering side of the business.

Mark Lutz, the owner of the West Allis Cheese & Sausage Shoppe just across the street, owns the space. He says he is currently seeking a new tenant. Interested parties can contact him by email at mlutz12368@gmail.com or by phone at (262) 617-3276.
