Last month, Summerfest and a very busy Klement's came together to announce the Big Gig's newest grounds stage: the Klement's Sausage and Beer Garden, a backyard-designed space on the festival's north end surrounded by picnic tables, a seated lounge area and barbecue grills. As for the music, the stated goal was acoustic tunes – with an emphasis on local performers.
And that's exactly what Summerfest did, according to the lineup of Klement's Sausage and Beer Garden headliners announced this morning.
Here's the list:
6 p.m. – Robin Pluer and the R&B Coquettes
6 p.m. – Harmonious Wail
6 p.m. – Cache Milwaukee Trio
6 p.m. – Ripple Effect
6 p.m. – Evan Christian

"Klement's is thrilled to help bring these wonderful local performers to Summerfest, said Tom Danneker, President and CEO of Klement’s Sausage Company, in a press release. "Like Klement's, they are helping make the world's largest music festival even better with a little hometown flavor. We are proud to showcase these musical acts in the Klement’s Sausage and Beer Garden at Summerfest this year."

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
