Klode Park in the village of Whitefish Bay, 5900 N. Lake Dr., is the place to be on Sunday, Sept. 3, as we host the second event in our Summer Food Truck Brunch Series.
Like the first event, held Aug. 20 in Bay View, the day will begin with morning yoga from 9 to 10 a.m. The trucks open for business immediately after and serve until 2 p.m.
OnMilwaukee, MilwaukeeFood.com and Hunger Task Force have joined forces for this Food Truck Brunch Series that highlights unique park scenery, our outdoor weather and community building.
Although the Whitefish Bay event will center around brunch foods and beverages, there also will be live music, family-friendly games and more.
Like the Bay View event that drew hundreds, there will also be a Deschutes Brewery pop up bar and truck on site that will feature exclusive brunch cocktail creations. Some of the creations include Maple Bacon Stout, Iced Mocha Porter, Black Butte Bloody Marry and more. Donate two cans of peaches in 100 percent juice or cash to the Hunger Task Force and you'll get a free 5-ounce sample.

A life-long and passionate community leader and Milwaukeean, Jeff Sherman is a co-founder of OnMilwaukee.
He grew up in Wauwatosa and graduated from Marquette University, as a Warrior. He holds an MBA from Cardinal Stritch University, and is the founding president of Young Professionals of Milwaukee (YPM)/Fuel Milwaukee.
Early in his career, Sherman was one of youngest members of the Greater Milwaukee Committee, and currently is involved in numerous civic and community groups - including board positions at The Wisconsin Center District, Wisconsin Club and Marcus Center for the Performing Arts. He's honored to have been named to The Business Journal's "30 under 30" and Milwaukee Magazine's "35 under 35" lists.
He owns a condo in Downtown and lives in greater Milwaukee with his wife Stephanie, his son, Jake, and daughter Pierce. He's a political, music, sports and news junkie and thinks, for what it's worth, that all new movies should be released in theaters, on demand, online and on DVD simultaneously.
