For the 10th straight year, October is Dining Month on OnMilwaukee, presented by the restaurants of Potawatomi Hotel & Casino. All month, we're stuffed with restaurant reviews, dining guides, delectable features, chef profiles and unique articles on everything food, as well as voting for your "Best of Dining 2016."

Kohler has teamed up with Central Standard Craft Distillery to create a 72 percent cacao dark chocolate brandy that's pretty unique and, as we learned, makes a great brandy old fashioned.

Peter Kalleward, Destination Kohler mixologist, stopped by this morning to talk about the new brandy – Kohler's first, but perhaps not last, foray into craft distilling – and show us how to make this delicious twist on a Wisconsin classic.

At the moment, the brandy is available around Kohler – The Craverie, The Market at Woodlake, etc. – but it will soon be available in liquor stores, grocery stores and bars and restaurants in Milwaukee, too.
