Kohl's Department Store associates from coast to coast will lend a hand to non-profit organizations across the country as part of the second annual National Go Green event.
The initiative coincides with this year's National Volunteer Week, April 10-16, and Earth Day.
The Menomonee Falls-based retailer will partner up with green-friendly community organizations for the second year in a row, including the Growing Power headquarters here in Milwaukee. Kohl's associates will volunteer their time as part of the company's Associates in Action program.
Kohl's Department Stores will also donate a total of $2 million in grant money to these organizations in addition to this year's volunteer efforts.
