Sugarplums and turtle doves are lovely aspects of Christmastime, but if you feel like adding monsters and axe throwing into your Yuletide mix, AXE MKE is your spot this season.

Through New Year's Eve, AXE MKE, 1924 E. Kenilworth Pl., has a Krampusnacht pop-up that honors Krampus, the half-goat, half-demon creature with horns who punishes the naughty kids.

This delightfully sinister pop-up features an axe throwing orientation with an Axe Master, a practice axe throwing session and a series of axe throwing challenges that end in a final battle against Krampus himself.

Beverages like the Coal Dust Margarita, Hellfire & Hooves, Naughty Nog and Frosted Doom are on the drink menu, and a variety of troublesome treats are also available.

If you want "safety second" to be your Christmas mantra, swing by Axe Milwaukee this month for some monstrous fun. Walk-ins and VIP packages are available. Go here for more info.
