On the heels of the success of Lakefront Brewery’s CurdWagon food truck – which serves crisp, hot deep-fried cheese curds to patio guests all summer long – the brewery has launched a new mobile operation, Curds a la Carte.

Lakefront’s Executive Chef, Kristin Hueneke proposed the idea for the new cart, based on her memory of a former hot dog cart used by the brewery in years past.

“Back in 2018, we had outgrown the hot dog cart and replaced it with the CurdWagon,” recalls Hueneke. “The cart has been collecting dust in storage since then, so after a deep clean and a stylish refurbishing, we’ve got it ready for a grand homecoming. It’s exciting for us to be able to provide an affordable and unique catering experience to the local area.”

Want curds at your next party?

Curds à la Carte will be available for private events every day of the week from Memorial Day to Labor Day, providing single-serving appetizers that offer guests a taste of the Cream City.

That includes options like cheese curds, mini beer brats and hot dogs, french fries, elote or esquites, fish fry and fries in a cup, pork BBQ sliders, pesto pasta salad and soft pretzels with cheese. A selection of gluten-free items are also available.
