In the month of cream puffs here in Wisconsin, a bunch of movies and TV shows are going poof off Netflix.

Indeed, there's not a lot of tasty news to report from the list of departures in August as this lineup features more good, notable movies than there are calories in a Wisconsin State Fair Sporkie contender – whether you're into comedies ("Liar Liar"), action blockbusters ("The Woman King") or getting riled up for the start of the new football season ("The Blind Side").

Elsewhere, no matter if you prefer the Tobey Maguire movies or the Andrew Garfield era, you'll be disappointed to see the Spider-Man films swinging off the Big Red Streaming Monolith next month. And speaking of multiverses, the Best Picture winner "Everything Everywhere All At Once" – still the only Oscar winner to ever feature hot dog fingers – will also venture to a new streaming universe during August. That's not all: Two of the better kids movies in recent memory – "Paddington" and "Marcel the Shell with Shoes On" – will grow up and out of Netflix's house, along with the tremendous, underseen coming-of-age dramedy "The Edge of Seventeen."

With no further ado, here's the full list of movies and TV shows you'll want to catch while you can on the Big Red Streaming Monolith before they make like the days of summer and disappear before you even know it.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
