This spring, kick Warner Huntington III to the curb and put on your finest pink outfit as the Riverside Theater announced that "Legally Blonde: The Musical," the stage adaptation of the popular 2001 Reese Witherspoon rom-com, will hit the stage for two shows on Saturday, March 30.

The show, nominated for seven Tony Awards in its original Broadway run in 2007, follows peppy Elle Woods as she tries to get her preppy boyfriend back by getting into Harvard Law School and becoming a lawyer. Along the way, she makes friends, becomes an unconventionally effective lawyer and teaches her hair salon pals the iconic bend ... and snap!

Tickets for the touring musical version of the show – performing twice on Saturday, March 30, at 3 and 8 p.m. – will go on sale beginning at noon on Friday, Dec. 14. For more information, visit the Riverside's website

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
