WMSE kicks off its 2011 Radio Summer Camp with Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, Wednesday, July 27 at 8 p.m. at Turner Hall.

Also on the bill are Tweak Bird and Milwaukee's own Call Me Lightning.

Leo's last record, "The Brutalist Bricks," is now a year old, so maybe you can expect to hear some new stuff at the gig, which will cost you $14.

Tickets go on sale Friday at noon.

Yesterday afternoon, The Pabst folks also announced that Steve Earle and The Dukes (and Duchess), featuring Allison Moorer, will play The Pabst on Sunday, July 24 at 8 p.m.

Tickets are $32.50 and also go on sale this Friday at noon.

That's two great mid-summer gigs already on the books, Milwaukee!
