This morning, Potawatomi Bingo Casino announced Locavore, a new casual dining restaurant opening in the casino's new hotel, focusing on a globally inspired menu prepared with local and sustainable food.

The 4,400 square-foot, 165-person dining room – complete with a private dining room and winding bar – will play host to a moderately priced menu of small and large plates, featuring breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. The menu will feature local products and sustainable proteins, which will change according to the seasons and harvests. The small plates and cocktails served at the bar will also focus on local ingredients, regional and small-batch beers, and organic wines.

"Locavore is committed to utilizing seasonal indigenous ingredients in every dish," said Don Sally, Potawatomi's food and beverage director. "I believe our guests will find Locavore and its local, sustainable menu options to be a natural fit to Potawatomi’s culinary offerings."

The new restaurant will be located on the first floor, open to the hotel's lobby.

Locavore will open as a part of the new hotel at an undefined date later this year.
