This Friday, Jazmine Swan will open a new business called London's Loving Pet Care after years put toward the goal via working, studying and spending as much time as possible with animals.

"My love for animals has been existent my whole life, but it wasn't until I started working in a veterinary clinic that I became aware of how much love, patience and tolerance is required when caring for my animal friends," says Swan.

London's Loving Pet Care provides daycare, grooming and boarding in a large, renovated facility at 8532 W. Brown Deer Rd.

In 2016, Swan graduated from Milwaukee Career College with a certification as a Veterinary Assistant and earned a degree in Business Management from Milwaukee Area Technical College in 2019.  She has worked for numerous groomers, doggie daycares and most recently as a veterinary assistant at Wright's Brown Deer Animal Hospital.

"I've had my share of great experiences in the animal world and I look forward to continuing to grow as an animal lover and provider," says Swan.

London's Loving Pet Care is named after Swan's 8-year-old son. London, like his mom, adores animals and the two have a cat in their family named Queenie.

"London is the driving force in everything I do. We bond as any mother and son would, but our common appreciation is our passion for animals," says Swan. "My son is very involved in everything I do, so his smiling face will often be in the facility."

Swan started her pet care business from her North Side home and after building up a strong and loyal customer base, decided to open a licensed operation.

London's will celebrate a grand opening / open house event on Saturday, Feb. 27 from 1 to 6 p.m.

"I invite everyone to come and visit and see the space for themselves," says Swan. "I guarantee that if your animal is in my care, it will definitely be treated as I would treat my own fur baby."
