I think I know what I'm doing for Halloween this year.

Los Lobos, which is wrapping up work on a followup to "The Town and the City," will visit Milwaukee for a show Halloween night at the Northern Lights Theater inside Potawatomi Bingo Casino.

Tickets cost $25 and $35.

The band's new album will be released by Shout! Factory.

"We never really plan any album," saxophonist Steve Berlin said in a release announcing the tour. "Like with "Kiko," (and) "Colossal Head" we just played the songs that showed up, naturally.

"With each project, we try to make our songwriting an artistic statement, where the stories we're telling and the arrangements we're composing get our point across.

"But to a certain extent, we make our songs opaque, mysterious. We leave it up to the listener to interpret... That's the highest purpose of artists, we think - not to rob the spirit out of the work."
