Love Local Radio is a new collaboration between OnMilwaukee and FM 102/1, aimed at highlighting Milwaukee's music scene. Tune in on Fridays at 9 p.m., when we'll play an hour of Milwaukee music, as well as feature an interview with a Milwaukee artist or band.
This week on Love Local Radio, we talk to John Sparrow of Violent Femmes, a more than fitting band to feature on the premiere episode of the show. We talk to Sparrow about getting his start in music, and how that eventually brought him to the Femmes as their current touring percussionist and the man behind the grill.
