Lynden Sculpture Garden hosts two events in the month of July: a talk by Jonathan Lippincott on July 13 and a performance by Eiko & Koma on July 23.
Lippincott's talk will stem from his book, "Large Scale: Fabricating Sculpture in the 1960s and 1970s," and cover the journey from creation to galleries, museums, private collections and public art shows. A book signing, sponsored by Boswell Books, will follow the talk which begins at 6:30 p.m.
On July 23, Alverno College will present Japanese performance artists Eiko & Koma at Lynden. The grounds will open for the performance at 5 p.m.
The performance will be followed by a picnic for attendees with Eiko & Koma. Attendees are invited to bring their own picnics or purchase one from Lynden with their tickets.
A free shuttle will run from the Brown Deer Road Park & Ride at I-43 beginning at 4:45 p.m.
Discounted tickets are available for Lynden members. Both memberships and tickets are available at lyndensculpturegarden.org.
