Be a tourist in your city and join a diverse crowd for DJs and live music, food, drinks, and art at MAM After Dark: MKE Icons Friday from 8 p.m. until midnight.

And, for this very special MAM After Dark we'll even be there to party with you.

Join OnMilwaukee for the launch of the LocaMoji Android app (it's out now!) and the brand new MAM Pack, including your favorite art symbols, art patrons and one of the most asked-for icons: the Milwaukee Art Museum's wings. Download the app early (iOS or Android) and come prepared for interactive activities.

New Milwaukee Art Museum-themed LocaMojis

LocaMoji-themed swag, activities, and photo opportunities will be available, too.

The night also will be filled with great music from The Middle Ground, Klassik and DJ Dori Zori of 88Nine. You can meet and greet with surprise Milwaukee personalities throughout the night and also win epic prize packs from local business and our friends from VISIT Milwaukee.

Shop Milwaukee-themed art and photography from the 414 Artist Pop-Up Shop, presented by Bubbler Studios – Amanda Iglinski & Ryan Laessig. Plus, there's always the museum’s world-famous art collection, now with more than 2,500 pieces on view throughout three floors of galleries.

OnMilwaukee folks will be on hand to welcome you and help you download the new MAM LocaMojis. After that, you can find us near the dance floor, where you can put crayon to LocaMoji coloring book pages, get temporary tattoos or just chat with some of our great team.

Want to learn how our LocaMojis are made?  Watch as Jason McDowell, our creative director, displays his skills in this video – or catch it projected all night at MAM After Dark, as well.

See you on the dance floor!

Carolynn Buser Editorial & Social Director
Carolynn Buser is one of Milwaukee's loudest and most adamant cheerleaders (don't dare try to disagree). She's the primary voice behind much of OnMilwaukee.com's social media, and apologizes in advance if she can be too sarcastic at times.

What else? She's a wine lover, closet trashy novel reader, beauty supplies addict and devourer of cheese (shocker for a Wisconsin born and bred girl, right?). She's also a bit of a foodie, which is a word most of you hate, we know. So, you've probably seen her at one of the area's newest restaurant openings (and yes, she will share her opinions good or bad) or enjoying her newfound love, the Dark and Stormy, at a local pub.

All in all, Carolynn's a believer in positive thinking and will do her best to smack down your negative ones while writing about her city, her loves, quests and more.
