A new soul food restaurant opened on Milwaukee’s Northwest Side called Mama’s Best Soul Food. Meals are available for breakfast, lunch and dinner, either dine-in or carry-out.

Mama’s Best Soul Food specializes in breakfast, which is served all day. The breakfast menu features grits, oatmeal, eggs, pancakes, American potatoes, bacon, turkey bacon and more.

Daily lunch and dinner specials include turkey and ham on Sundays, chicken on Tuesdays, spaghetti on Wednesdays, pork ribs and pork chops on Thursday, fish on Fridays and steak on Saturdays. All meals come with a choice of side dishes, which rotate but usually include potato salad, cole slaw, green beans or mac ‘n’ cheese.
