The beloved 414 Day takes place next month, and this year, Milwaukee-lovers can celebrate by sampling libations from Milwaukee’s best martini makers.

Martini Royale, presented by Shepherd Express, takes place on Friday, April 14, at the Tripoli Shrine Center, 3000 W. Wisconsin Ave., from 4:30 to 9 p.m.

Eventgoers will enjoy martini tastings from Tavern Team, The Pharmacy and other bars and restaurants around town with the opportunity to vote for their favorite Milwaukee martini.

Attendees are encouraged to use a spy code name and undertake the challenge of solving a murder mystery, snap photos with Triumph Motorcycles as seen in James Bond movies, shoot pool in the billiards room and try out their luck at the blackjack, poker or roulette tables.

Cigars from Her Stixx will be available for purchase to enjoy in the smoking lounge of Tripoli Shrine Center. Plus, Tripoli Shrine Center, Usinger’s, Vollwerth Sausage, PKs Pastries and other eateries will be providing heavy appetizers to enjoy throughout the evening.

Guests must be 21 years or older to attend Martini Royale. General admission tickets are available for $38 and offer entry at 6 p.m. along with free secured parking, table money for the Casino Room and a palm reading.

VIP admission starts at $58 and includes early entrance to the event, plus complimentary sliders provided by Tripoli Shrine Center, a cigar, stemmed martini glass charm and more.

The event is still accepting vendor and sponsor applications. Email Jan Bruder at jan@shepex.com for more information.
