Milwaukee’s John McGivern and Christopher Tarjan have opened in a production of "Shear Madness" in Chicago at the Chicago Theatre Downstairs, 175 N. State St.

It’s been more than two years since the wildly successful production closed in Milwaukee.  The Chicago engagement of “Madness” runs through the year, with McGivern currently slated to play the lead role for the first six weeks.  Then, Chicago actor Mitchell Fain takes over the role of Tony Whitcomb.

McGivern returns to Milwaukee in December for “A Very Merry McGivern with David Sedaris' 'Santaland Diaries'” at Next Act Theatre.
