Meglio Pizzeria will open soon 1888 N. Humboldt Ave., across the street from redroom and Good Life.

Located on the first floor of a new condo development, the restaurant is owned by Cut to the Taste Restaurants and was recently awarded a liquor license.

Owner Jim Metz says Megilo (which means "best" or "better" in Italian) will feature intimate seating 30 inside, pizza by the pie and slice, a brick-fired oven, a $4.90 bottle of table wine available for take out, outdoor seating and more.

Metz and his team are hoping for a June opening.  Stay tuned to OnMilwaukee.com for additional details.
