This morning, the Riverside announced a special screening of "Blazing Saddles," arguably one of the funniest movies ever created, complete with Gov. William J. Le Petomane himself, writer-director Mel Brooks.
The Riverside show – set for Saturday, June 11 at 7 p.m. – will feature a big screen showing of the classic 1974 comedy Western starring Cleavon Little and Gene Wilder. The movie will then be followed with a live conversation and Q&A session with the comedy legend to talk about "Blazing Saddles," along with the rest of Brooks' insanely impressive comedy resume – from "Young Frankenstein" to "Spaceballs" to "The Producers" to the TV show "Get Smart" to helping produce the decidedly more serious "The Fly" and "The Elephant Man."
Tickets for the special screening go on sale starting Saturday, April 30 at noon and range in cost from $49.50 to $125. And we have a good feeling you'll want to grab your tickets immediately. Immediately! Immediately! Harrumph! Harrumph! Harrumph!
