Milwaukeean Erica Milde is one of the models featured on the new Lifetime reality series, "Models of the Runway."  The new show is a companion series to season six of "Project Runway."  Each week, one model is sent home.  Milde survived week one and finished second in fan voting on myLifetime.com.

Milde grew up in Chicago but was born in Milwaukee and now lives in Milwaukee's Fifth Ward. According to several sources the MIAD graduate currently works as a photo stylist for props and sets and, of course, as a model. A tour of the model's home is here.

Milde's first local modeling gig was for info magazine and she's walked the runway at the annual Lela Fashion Show in the Historic Third Ward.  This year's Lela (owned by my wife) event is Sept. 12, but Milde has not yet been confirmed.

Designer Ra'mon-Lawrence Coleman, another Milwaukee resident, also is featured on the new season of "Project Runway."  The Chicago native currently works for Kohl's but was living in Minneapolis when the show was taped.

"Project Runway" and "Models of the Runway" air online and on Lifetime on Thursdays at 9 p.m.
