Milky Way Drive-In will help kick off both the summer movie season and the summer concert season in rockin' style next month as the outdoor Franklin screen will broadcast a new concert from '80s rock icon Bon Jovi on Saturday, May 22. 

The "You Give Love a Bad Name" and "Livin' On a Prayer" Rock & Roll Hall of Famers will "take the screen" twice that Saturday night at The Rock Complex – once at 5 p.m. inside Franklin Field, followed by a 9:45 p.m. showing on the Milky Way Drive-In screen. Both concert broadcasts will be distanced, with the earlier show seating groups of up to six people in separated "pods" around the field while the latter performance can be enjoyed safely from inside your vehicle or seated in lawn chairs distanced in the open air. 

“Encore Drive-In Nights has come up with a great way for us to get back to enjoying great concerts together while maintaining public safety,” said Mike Zimmerman, CEO of ROC Ventures, in a release. “We anticipate more great shows like this in the near future!”

Tickets for the shows will go on sale beginning at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 29 at Encore's website. Tickets for both performances costs $89 for a group up to six people, either in a pod for the early show or in a car for the later one.
