Most of the time, Miller Brewing and Coors Brewing work together as one (aka MillerCoors), but when it comes to baseball, it's time for a friendly rivalry.

Miller has strong ties to Milwaukee and Coors is headquartered in Golden, Colorado. So naturally, Miller is rooting for the Brewers and Coors is on Team Rockies.

Thus, whichever brewery’s team wins the first round of the playoffs, the losing brewery will pick up the tab and offer customers free beer next Friday, Oct. 12 at participating bars – yet to be announced – across the city. (Limit one per customer, while supplies last, must be 21 or older.)

Lakefront Brewery is also involved in a baseball-related wager with a Colorado-based craft brewery.

Oh, it's on, Milwaukee!
