After an early-morning electrical fire on July 4, the Miramar Theatre, 2844 N. Oakland Ave., temporarily closed for repairs. Today the theater announced that it will reopen this Saturday, July 20.

An email sent out by theater management today read, "We will still be in clean-up mode with much more to do, but functional and comfortable. Thanks for all your support!"

Remodeling began July 9. No one was injured in the fire.
