For the third year in a row, MKE Black Inc. will host Summer Marketplace, an outdoor marketplace focused on local Black-owned businesses.
These events will take place monthly throughout the summer (June, July and August) in the Deer District Plaza, 1134 Vel R. Phillips Ave.
The first, sponsored by Milwaukee County Office of Equity and Hyfin Radio, is set for Sunday, June 11 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The expanded event will include around 50 vendors selling food, clothing, books, art and more to represent the diverse fields of Black business owners in the Milwaukee area.
“We’re proud to continue our partnership with Milwaukee Bucks to support many of Milwaukee’s great Black-owned businesses,” said MKE Black’s Board Chair, Rick Banks. “I hope that Milwaukee comes out to join us for a day of fun and shopping.”
Stay tuned for the July and August dates for MKE Black’s Summer Marketplace.
