The We Just Want Good Times Purple Glitter Beer is coming back for Pride Month at Milwaukee Brewing Company.

Alluring? Or alarming?

The 5 percent ABV American pale wheat beer, brewed with coriander seed, sweet orange peel, wheat malt and oats, is anything but pale. In fact, it's the opposite of pale; colored with butterfly pea flower and bedazzled with edible glitter.

The brew – which may or may not be brewed by unicorns – was first released in 2018 as part of MKE Brewing's "Brewer’s Day Off" series.

And now it's here again.

"This is our third year doing it," says Milwaukee Brewing's Jim McCabe. "We've always done it around Pride Fest and the Third Ward, obviously, was the focus with the festival going on, and and it became a very popular thing between the Third Ward (where Milwaukee Ale House is located) and Walker's Point with the parade going right by our old brewery.

"It's just something that we have a lot of fun with."

There will be a parking lot pickup sale at the 9th Street brewery, 1128 N. 9th St., in the Brewery District, on Saturday, June 27 from noon until 6 p.m. Crowlers are $15 and Pride pint glasses are $5.

Pre-ordering is required, and there is a limit of two crowlers and two Pride pint glasses per order. You'll get a reserved pickup time when you purchase online.

To ensure a smooth pickup, please park and then get in line (socially distanced, course) at your reserved time.

Sorry, at this time there are no opportunities to watch the unicorns at work in the brewhouse.
