Times were uncertain in 2020 when sisters-in-law Courtney Reese and Patti Wainscott launched MKE Charcuterie, a business offering cheese and charcuterie boards for purchase. But for over a year, the two women have brought joy to others in the form of simple creature comforts.

Despite success moving into 2021, the business announced last night on Facebook that they will be ceasing operations for the business effective June 30.

The message reads:

"It's with very heavy hearts that we share today that MKE Charcuterie will be ceasing operations when our licenses expire on 6/30.

Patti and Courtney absolutely love this business and have achieved so much more than we could ever imagine. Thanks to all of you.

We have already doubled sales in 2021! We continue to discuss the sale of the business with folks who are interested in purchasing and growing MKEC to new heights. But Courtney and Patti have made the decision to move on to other paths.

Our most sincere thanks to all of you who have made MKE Charcuterie so special, particularly over such a challenging time in the last year. You have made our undying gratitude and all our love forever more!

Patti & Courtney"
