Join us on Saturday, July 22 for some lakeside munchies at the second annual OnMilwaukee Food Truck Fest. Choose from a menu of 20 trucks and enjoy the live music, games and entertainment. It's the biggest gathering of the best food on four wheels.

Tickets are moving quickly for the MKE CHEF Collaboration Dinner which will take place at the Milwaukee Public Market on Sunday, Aug. 21 at 5 p.m.

The event, which features a seven course meal prepared by seven of the area's most acclaimed chefs and culinary teams and beverage pairings by the folks at Lost Whale, will also benefit seven local charitable organizations.

Launched in 2017, the MKE CHEF collaboration dinners are curated by Chef Adam Pawlak of Egg & Flour, with the intention of bringing together local chefs to raise awareness and funds for worthy causes.

Past dinners have successfully raised thousands of dollars for local charities, and the fourth is expected to be no exception.

Participating chefs for the August dinner include

  1. Adam Pawlak of Egg & Flour – This Time Tomorrow Foundation
  2. Ramses Alvarez of Dia Bom – Community Liver Alliance
  3. Cole Ersel of Milkweed Kitchen – Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
  4. Joe Muench of Black Shoe Hospitality – Urban Ecology Center
  5. Karen Bell and Alex Lyskowicz of Bavette – Wellpoint Care Network
  6. Kevin Sloan of Pabst Theater Group – Sojourner Truth House
  7. Kurt and Katie Fogle of Dairyland/Mid-Way Bakery – Stryve365

The dinner will kick of on the Public Market’s second level mezzanine at 5 p.m. with cash-bar cocktail hour featuring live music from Old Sam & The Teardrops.  The first course of the dinner will be served at 6 p.m.

Currently, less than half the tickets for the event remain, so guests are encouraged to purchase them while they last. Seats are $250 per person and include seven courses and beverage pairings. Reservations can be secured online.
