The Milwaukee Kickers Soccer Club, one of the largest and most respected youth soccer organizations in the country, announced Tuesday the 2017 tournaments and special events that will be hosted at its home, Uihlein Soccer Park, 7101 W. Good Hope Rd.

"Based on our confirmed 2017 tournaments, team registrations, public rentals and year-over-year increase in spectators, we will surpass our 600,000 annual visitor count this year," said Alvaro Garcia-Velez, Executive Director of the Milwaukee Kickers Soccer Club. "As always, our tournaments and special events are open to the public and all are encouraged to visit the soccer park to see the positive impact team sports and teamwork has on our community."

2017 Uihlein Soccer Park Tournament & Special Event Dates:

  • MKSC Academy Winter Select Tournament (Indoor) – Jan. 27-29
  • America SCORES Milwaukee SCORES CUP Tournament (Indoor) – April 22
  • Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin Invitational (Select) – May 5-7
  • Kohl’s Spring Recreational Tournament – May 12 & 13
  • WIAA Girls State Soccer Championship – June 15-17
  • NSCAA College Showcase-North – Sept. 1-4
  • Pepsi Cup Soccer Tournament (Select) – Sept. 29-Oct. 1
  • Kohl’s Fall Recreational Tournament – Oct. 6-8
  • WYSA State Cup Soccer Championship – October (starts 14, finals week of 23)
  • WIAA Boys State Soccer Championship – Nov. 2-4
  • Kohl’s Turkey Classic Tournament (Indoor) – Nov. 24-26

"This will be another exciting year of growth and community engagement as we participate in and serve as host for tournaments, special events and outreach programming," said Garcia-Velez. "We will also continue to offer ‘Open Play’ hours Monday through Friday providing every member of our community the opportunity to play at our premier, year-round sports facility."

Tournament and special event updates will be posted on the Milwaukee Kickers website and social media accounts as they become available. Open Play usage is based on field availability, interested players are asked to call the Milwaukee Kickers office at 414.358.2678 for availability before arrival.
