Snuggle up with some holiday cheer as OnMilwaukee shares stories of everything merry and bright in the spirit of the season.
The OnMilwaukee Ho Ho Holiday Guide is brought to you by Educators Credit Union, Harley-Davidson Museum and MolsonCoors.
Want to get a jump on the holidays right now? If so, you'll be thrilled to know that Milwaukee's MobCraft Beer has kicked off pre-sales for its fourth annual 24-pack Beer Advent calendar with two dozen unique brews.
This year’s installment includes six year-round beers, eight limited release beers, three barrel-aged beers and seven collaboration beers.
The collabs were brewed with partners Indeed Brewing (Milwaukee), Broken Bat Brewery (Milwaukee), Los Morales Brewing (Milwaukee), Beechwood Sales and Service (Milwaukee), Lady Justice Brewing Company (Aurora, Colorado), Young Blood Beer Co. (Madison), MORE Brewing Company (Villa Park, Illinois), Supermoon Brewery (Milwaukee) and Radix Fermentation (Milwaukee).
Calendars cost $67 and can be picked up in the Milwaukee taproom, 505 S. 5th St., beginning in mid-October. The boxes will also be available at select retailers in Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Minnesota and Colorado around mid-October.
You can pre-order for a limited time here.
A retailer map will hit the MobCraft website in coming weeks.
“I am so excited to be bringing Advent calendars back this year with yet another amazing lineup of beers,” says MobCraft co-founder Henry Schwartz.
“I'm most excited for the one off brews you'll find in the box including eight limited release beers and seven collaboration beers found only in this box! Collaborating with other breweries is always fun, but to do it in a big mix pack that will be available in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Colorado, Illinois and Michigan is just awesome!”
Each calendar also comes with a chance to win beer for a year. To enter to win, participants must post each of the 24 beers using the tags @mobcraftbeer and #CheersTo24Beers on social media. A winner will be chosen at the end of the holiday season. Details here.
