The Milwaukee Public Library’s Public Art Selection Committee will hold a meeting on Sept. 12 at 6 p.m. to hear presentations by the five finalists selected to develop public art concepts for the new East Branch.

The meeting will take place at the Milwaukee Public Library's central branch, 733 N. 8th St.

The finalists will each present design ideas to attendees. The meeting will be opened to questions and comments from the public following the presentations.

The five public art proposals can be seen at mpl.org/EastLibrary, and the community is encouraged to share feedback on the proposals by completing a survey.

The new branch will be completed in 2014.
