I love The Muppets and love how Disney has brought Kermit, Miss Piggy and the rest of the gang back.

As they prepare for their new ABC show "The Muppets," the network is previewing a 10-minute bit of the show at select festivals and venues this summer. Milwaukee’s Summerfest is on the list.

According to The Hollywood Reporter (who first broke the story), ABC will screen the new Muppet show (and other new ABC shows) inside "a 91-seat mobile cinema that is housed inside a 53-foot double-expandable trailer that is said to replicate every facet of a movie theater experience."

Lesley Goldberg of HR reports, "The tour will kick off June 11 at CMA Fest in Nashville and run through June 14. Fans at all six locations — Chicago Navy Pier, Riverdays in Detroit, Summerfest in Milwaukee, the San Diego County Fair and the California State Fair — will also receive swag including t-shirts, pins and hats."

The news about this new Muppet mobile theater also was reported via Twitter and, of course, picked up quickly by countess additional news sources.

The ABC mobile theater stop at Summerfest runs June 25-28 only, and will be open from 1-8 p.m.

"The Muppets" debuts Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 7 p.m. on ABC.
