Head coach Terri Mitchell and her Marquette womens' basketball team celebrate their 2008 WNIT Championship Saturday with a banner ceremony at the Al McGuire Center.

The championship banner will be unveiled just prior to the Golden Eagles' 2 p.m. season opener against Oral Roberts.

The Golden Eagles beat Michigan State, 81-66, in the WNIT Championship game played at the Breslin Center.

Marquette received votes in both major top 25 polls and returns four starters and six letterwinners from last season's 21-14 squad.
