We spend a lot of time sleeping, but I never have sent much time shopping or researching pillows. This is going to change, but I need your help.
Here's the deal. I need a new pillow.
I have no medical needs, no specific therapeutic or orthopedic requests. Just an awesome, high quality pillow. That's what I need. I've heard that latex foam pillows are good, but who knows? And, before you ask, yes I did a search but really didn't find one authoritative blog or site that ranks pillows. So, I need you to guide me and tell me what's best for resting my head.
In case you need to know, we (my wife and I) haven't yet succumbed to the mattress-marketing prowess of Select Comfort or Tempur-Pedic. But, we do have a nice Stearns and Foster mattress that's about six years old. I am, though, tempted to start a new mattress hunt in a few years. Why not? My wife and I need maximum sleeping comfort.
Back to my pillow needs. My current headrest has some type of beads in it. No down or memory foam, but it was (when bought years ago) some type of ergonomic thing. But, it's nothing special. I do have two pillows, if that helps. The second is your basic hotel grade feather variety. No brand name, just something that was bought at a Linens ‘N Things or Boston Store -- again, years ago.
So, it's now time for a killer new pillow.
Help me, Milwaukee, find the right one. Use the talk back feature, please.
Here's to an even better night's sleep.
