The Turner Hall restaurant closed earlier this year, but earlier today Mike Eitel signed a lease with the Turner Ballroom Preservation Trust for the bar and restaurant space at 1034 N. 4th St.

"Mike and his team are excited to work alongside The Pabst Theater Group which operates the historic Turner Ballroom," says Holly Haseley, senior account supervisor at Laughlin Constable.

The concept is currently under development, and OnMilwaukee will share more details in the next couple of weeks as they become available.

Eitel has been an anchor in Milwaukee's thriving food and drink scene since he opened the Nomad in 1994. He also owns SportClub, Panga, Nomad Madison and operated Nomad Nacional during the World Cup in the former La Fuente space.

"The team has just finished hosting a massive five-week World Cup event and will release more information in August once details are finalized," says Haseley.

"Mike is excited to be part of the revitalization of Turner Hall and the new development taking place in the area surrounding the new Wisconsin Entertainment and Sports Center."
