Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. officials announced the final three finalists in the competition to name and brand Milwaukee's new Alternative and Modern Rock music festival.

This new music festival will kick off the summer festival season on Friday, June 4 and Saturday, June 5 at Henry Maier Festival Park.

More than 200 submissions were whittled down to three finalists: Verge Music Festival, Parallel and Diatonic.

Stage lineups and the winning festival name will be announced March 10.
