What will the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and Kopp's Custard soon have in common? Doc Severinsen, of course!

On September 19, Kopp's will launch a new flavor, appropriately named "Symphony," to honor the MSO Principal Pops Conductor. This is the same day the Milwaukee Symphony Pops opens its 2003-2004 season with Doc's Tribute to Wisconsin.

Severinsen has declared his love of custard in front of many audiences and often stops for a scoop when he's in Milwaukee.

"This is music to my taste buds," he says, "I'm truly honored and I know that our audiences will find the MSO's performances as rich and deeply satisfying as a scoop of this new Kopp's flavor."

Symphony custard, inspired by Hershey's Symphony candy bar, is a medley of milk chocolate custard, whole roasted pecans, pecan toffee crunch and a fudge revel.

Kopp's Frozen Custard Stands are located at 7631 W. Layton Ave., 5373 N. Port Washington Rd. and 18880 W. Bluemound Rd.
