The OnMilwaukee Ho Ho Holiday Guide is brought to you by Educators Credit Union, Harley-Davidson Museum and MolsonCoors

Downtown Waukesha will transform into a "Night of Lights" on Friday, Dec. 2. The event, hosted by The Waukesha Downtown Business Association, City of Waukesha Chamber of Commerce and the City of Waukesha, begins at 5:30 p.m.

Here is the schedule of events:

  • Tree Lighting - 5:30 p.m. Kick off the evening outside the Rotunda, 235 W. Broadway, with hot chocolate, music, the lighting of the Downtown Christmas tree and a glimpse at Santa.
  • Lantern Stroll & Caroling - 6 p.m.  Follow Santa from the Rotunda down to the river for a lantern walk with caroling outside of the downtown businesses. Bring a lantern from home or purchase one at the event (limited quantities available).
  • Walk of Lights Lighting Ceremony - 6:30 p.m.  Wrap it up with the lighting of the Walk of Lights along Riverfront Street, 23 Riverfront St. Then stick around for treats, giveaways (including a Walk of Lights ornament) and the chance to meet Santa.
