The Brewers host Arizona this afternoon in Game 2 of the National League Division Series here at Miller Park.

Zack Greinke starts for Milwaukee today and is making his second straight assignment on short rest. He's 16-6 in 28 starts this season with a 3.83 ERA. For the Diamondbacks, it'll be Daniel Hudson, who went 16-12 with a 3.49 ERA.

Ron Roenicke sends out the same starting lineup Sunday, which means Jerry Hairston will make another start at third base. He finished 1-for-2 yesterday with a walk and a sacrifice fly, and also was very good in the field.

For those wondering, the roof is closed today and the 4:07 p.m. start time means that the infamous shadows will make for an interesting first few innings. Right now, about 20 minutes before first pitch, the shadow line extends from just outside the batters box, into right field.

The pitcher's mound, second base, shortstop and third base are in sunlight while the rest of the field is covered in shadows.

Here are the lineups:

PLAY-BY-PLAY

First inning

Diamondbacks: Willie Bloomquist strikes out swinging, thrown out trying to reach on a dropped third strike. Totals – 0 runs, 1 hit, 1 LOB; Brewers 0, Diamondbacks 0.

Hudson tries fool Ryan Braun with a changeup but Braun belted it to center field for his first postseason home run and a 2-0 Brewers lead. Prince Fielder strikes out swinging. With a full count, Rickie Weeks ends the inning with a pop fly to short. Totals – 2 runs, 2 hits, 0 LOB; Brewers 2, Diamondbacks 0.

Second inning

Diamondbacks: Paul Goldschmidt works the count even before a homer to right-center. Chris Young flies out to center field. Ryan Roberts doubles off the wall in right. Gerardo Parra lines out to Fielder, who just narrowly missed doubling Roberts off at second. Daniel Hudson worked Greinke full and capped off a 10-pitch at-bat with a ground out to third. Totals – 1 run, 2 hits, 1 LOB; Brewers 2, Diamondback 1.

Brewers: Jerry Hairston leads off with a single to center. Yuniesky Betancourt grounds into a double play.Jonathan Lucroy keeps the inning a live with a base hit that Bloomquist couldn't handle. Greinke ends the inning with a strikeout. Totals – 0 runs, 2 hits, 0 LOB; Brewers 2, Diamondbacks 1.

Third inning

Diamondbacks: Bloomquist smacks Greinke's first offering right back into the press box (thanks for missing my computer, Willie!) then grounds out to Greinke, who makes the tag unassisted. Aaron Hill singles to right. Greinke gets Upton to chase on a 94 MPH fastball for the second out. Montero blasts one to center but Morgan makes the catch, on the track, for the third out. Totals – 0 runs, 1 hit, 1 LOB; Brewers 2, Diamondbacks 1.

Brewers: Hart grounds out to second. Morgan strikes out for the second time today – his fourth in five at-bats this series. Braun doubles and scores on Fielder's first-pitch single up the middle. Weeks sends a fly to deep center that bounces off the wall for a sliding triple (which he celebrates with a pretty emphatic "beast mode"), scoring Fielder. Hairston hits a high fly to left, but Perra makes the catch just in front of the track. Totals – 2 runs, 3 hits; 1 LOB; Brewers 4, Diamondbacks 1.

Fourth inning

Diamondbacks: Goldscmidt strikes out swinging. Chris Young cuts the lead in half with a solo home run to center. Roberts reaches on a base hit and moves to second when Betancourt's throw sails into the seats. Parra takes Greinke full. Roberts is caught in a rundown between second and third for out No. 2 and Greinke follows with strike three to Parra. Totals – 1 run, 2 hits, 0 LOB; Brewers 4, Diamondbacks 2.

Sixth inning

Young doubles when Morgan, on the run as well, can't make the catch in shallow center. Young advances on Roberts' ground out back to Saito. Parra strikes out swinging. Totals – 0 runs, 1 hit, 0 LOB; Brewers 4, Diamondbacks 4.

SAUSAGE RACE: Italian wins ... because people care about that stuff.

Brewers: Weeks grounds out to short. Hairston doubles and that ends the day for Hudson, who leaves after 93 pitches over 5.1 innings and six strikeouts. Brad Ziegler is on to face Betancourt. With a 1-0 count on Yuni, Ziegler is called for a balk, moving Hairston to third. Betancourt walks. Lucroy reches on a safety squeeze, scoring Hairston. Lucroy and Betancourt each advance because of Ziegler's bad throw to the plate, which gets past Montero. Mark Kotsay, hitting for the pitcher, is intentionally walked, loading the bases with one out for Hart, who rips a single to center, scoring Betancourt. Nyjer Morgan drives in two more with his first base hit of the series, a single to right-center. Braun keeps the inning going with an RBI single to give the Brewers a five-run lead. Ziegler leaves the game without recording an out and Joe Paterson, a lefty, comes in to face Fielder, who strikes out. Bryan Shaw is next out of the bullpen. He gets Weeks to ground into a force out at second, bringing the inning to an end. Totals – 5 runs, 4 hits, 2 LOB; Brewers 9, Diamondbacks 4.

Seventh inning

Diamondbacks: The Brewers send in LaTroy Hawkins who gets pinch-hitter Sean Burroughs swinging for the first out. A 13-pitch at-bat with seven foul balls ends in a walk to Bloomquist. With Hill batting, Bloomquist steals second base. Hill walks. Upton lines out to right and both runners hold.
