The Milwaukee area gets its first Cheesecake Factory Tuesday, Oct. 26 as the company opens its new Mayfair Mall location. To-go menus are being handed out to curious customers already stopping in.
The Cheesecake Factory Inc. operates 85 full-service, casual dining restaurants under The Cheesecake Factory mark in major metropolitan areas in the United States. The Company also operates Grand Lux Cafe, an upscale casual dining restaurant concept, with locations in Las Vegas, Chicago, Los Angeles and Dallas.
The Company originated in 1972 as a producer and distributor of high-quality cheesecakes and other baked desserts. Its first restaurant opened in Beverly Hills, Calif., in 1978.
