Earlier this week, we told you that Milwaukee would be featured in The New York Times this weekend. Indeed, that's the case as the story hit nytimes.com this morning. A print version is expected Sunday.
"Modern Milwaukee isn't so much defined by the Rust Belt anymore, but rather by its lively downtown and a signature museum so architecturally striking that it competes for attention with the art it holds," according to Maura Casey, a writer for The New York Times.
Casey recently spent "36 Hours in Milwaukee" and in her new article she describes how today's Milwaukee is unrecognizable compared to the city that existed decades ago.

He owns a condo in Downtown and lives in greater Milwaukee with his wife Stephanie, his son, Jake, and daughter Pierce. He's a political, music, sports and news junkie and thinks, for what it's worth, that all new movies should be released in theaters, on demand, online and on DVD simultaneously.
